Lemon Verbena is most frequently used in purification magic, whether this is through including it in spell jars or pouches, used in a bath, or as a tea.  Traditionally has been used to make one attractive to the opposite sex, and thus often used in love spells and potions.  One unusual use has been to keep one from dreaming. The most important traditional use of Lemon Verbena is to strengthen the effectiveness of other herbs in a mixture or potion.  So if you are trying to make a potion or elixir of herbs, try adding some lemon verbena and see if you make a stronger brew.
